The Challenge

Ghost Hill Cellars is a family-owned vineyard in Oregon's Willamette Valley, specializing in Pinot Noirs and offering wine tastings with a focus on local history and sustainable farming practices.

The client needed help with raising awareness of their winery to their target audience, increasing engagement on social media, and boosting website and foot traffic.

The Solution

The main objective of our project with Ghost Hill Cellars was to increase brand awareness of their winery and its offerings and amplify their online presence, focusing on Instagram. 

To achieve this, we implemented a comprehensive social media strategy that included the regular posting of relevant content, incorporating various post types such as Reels and Carousels, and engaging with their target audience on Instagram, using Blaise Media community engagement tactics. 

We enhanced their content strategy by incorporating branding, location, and more relevant information on their event flyer posts along with solidifying a brand voice for post captions and comments. 

Additionally, we utilized Instagram Stories to the brands’ advantage and created a LinkTree account. By leveraging Instagram Stories, we were able to capture more reach and further increase foot traffic to events. With the implementation of LinkTree, we were able to promote various articles the brand was mentioned in, and seamless navigation to product purchases and event sign-ups.

The Results

After four months of our social media strategy in effect, Ghost Hill Cellars displayed a:

  • Follower Increase: A steady growth of followers was seen over our four-month stint, growing the account following by +21.26%, leading to new potential customers and members.

  • Boost in Reach and Engagement using Instagram Stories: By incorporating Instagram Stories into the social media strategy and posting calendar, we achieved a +5335% increase in reach and +2214% increase in engagement on stories compared to the previous four-month period.

  • Rise in Engagement: By implementing a strong social media strategy, consistent posting, and improving the quality and branding of content, the average number of accounts engaged per post increased by +32%. Additionally, we saw a preference for our thought-out and intentional posts through an increase of +26% more likes per post, +75% more comments per post, +99% more shares per post, +94% more saves per post, and +132% more follows from post.
